Web sites into web goners

The biggest one that I know of that has spent millions of dollars promoting was Pets.com. I remember a lot of advertising during the Super Bowl one year. They went down very quick. Amazon, Ebay, and Yahoo have been very successful with the e-biz. This is a very good medium that many people are just realizing. Record Companies have dropped much of their A&R, and are no looking at bands with websites. Many bands, in return are setting up websites and sending links to record companies. Everyone uses the internet, so it is the best place to market products, hence the pop-ups. It takes a lot to make it in the e-biz. You have to have a product that is in demand, or the finances to make it long term.
